International Princess Day

We have many days throughout the year to celebrate the important people in our lives. Father’s Day and Mother’s Day happen every single year, so why don’t we have a day just for our Princesses too? Well, we do! International Princess Day is a holiday originally started in 2008 by a Little known as Princess Skye. It happens on May the 5^th.

While Princess Day isn’t as widely known as other more mainstream holidays, there are many all over the world who enjoy it every year. You don’t even need to keep to May the 5^th. There’s nothing stopping you from holding a Princess Day whenever you want to. You can pick the day of the year you prefer, or even have a monthly Princess Day where you spoil your little.

What Should You Do on Princess Day?

This is something that’s entirely up to you! As long as you’re spoiling and making your Little feel special, then you can plan whatever activities you think they’ll enjoy. Common examples include:

• Breakfast in bed
• Watching movies together
• Sharing a bath
• Massages
• Dancing or singing together
• Going shopping together
• Painting nails for your Little
• Brushing your Little’s hair
• A pyjama day
• Bringing her favourite food
• Having a tea party
• Doing some arts and crafts together
• Buying her presents

This list could go on literally forever. The only important part is that your Little enjoys themselves, so anything you think they might like or want to do, but you don’t get to do every day, is a great option for Princess Day. It’s a great opportunity for considerate Caregivers to demonstrate how well they know their Littles and how much they care for them. If you aren’t sure what your Little would want to do, then ask!
